According to the Social Security Administration’s popular baby names list, in 2009, the name “Larry” was ranked number 385. Over the past 35 years, the ranking has been trending drastically downwards. I often ask people if they know anyone named Larry who is currently under 21 years of age. After thinking for several minutes, the answer is often no. When they do think of a Larry that they know, that isn’t their uncle, he is typically, at least, over 40 years of age. I am not talking about people who have the last name of Leary or O’Leary but just like the fist name is spelled L-A-R-R-Y. Since most of the first name Larrys and last name Larrys live in Texas, Florida and Illinois, are you thinking what I am thinking?
